Welcome! We're glad you are visiting us here. Ascension is a congregation combining excellence in worship and music with a warm small church feeling. Our motto is: Our doors are open wide to invite, nurture, gather and serve. Our worship is grounded in tradition but responsive to our time – weekly Communion, Gospel-centered, Scriptural preaching, and both traditional and contemporary liturgies. We welcome children, regularly include children's sermons, and provide nursery care for small children. The following is our Sunday Schedule: "Early Praise Communion," 8-8:50 a.m., is an alternative, more casual worship style, involving children and youth and accessible to individuals not currently involved in a church. Traditional Sunday worship, 10:00 a.m., is actually a blended service, including music from all ages. Christian Education, 9:00 a.m. September through May, includes Sunday School for children ages three and above and an Adult Forum. Please visit us in person to see what a difference being a part of our congregation can make in your life! Note our Summer Schedule: From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend we have one worship service at 9:00 a.m. |
