With a sanctuary of amazing acoustics and a magnificent 20-rank Casavant Frères pipe organ, Ascension takes pride in our tradition of inspiring music

As a singing congregation, the choirs and various instrumentalists of the church lead the liturgy, psalms, hymns and spiritual songs associated with worship.

The Ascension church choir, led by Dan McDaniel, sings at most 10am services through Pentecost, providing special music for festival and seasonal services.

The Ascension handbell choir plays as scheduled for worship and seasonal services from Labor Day through Pentecost Sunday.

Praise Time is the contemporary ensemble and plays as scheduled for worship and seasonal services throughout the year.

The instrumentalists of Ascension add their talents to worship services throughout the year and serve throughout the summer months. Often, they join with the choir on special anthems. In addition, there is a team of youth dancers who share their gifts through liturgical dance - most commonly with Praise Time musical group.
