youth

  • Sunday School: Offered at 9:00 am on Sundays from Labor Day until Memorial Day, volunteer teachers will lead a lesson and activity based on the day's lectionary readings. For ages 2 - 6th grade.

  • Confirmation: Offered at 8:30 am on Sundays from Labor Day until Memorial Day, Pastor Chris leads this time of study and discussion engaging topics of biblical scripture, the Lutheran tradition, and the life of faith. Typically for 7th and 8th graders.

  • First Communion: This time for instruction is scheduled on an as-needed basis. Typically spread out over four sessions, this time for learning about holy communion can happen any time of year. For any children ready to take holy communion.

  • Youth Night: Offered to youth between the ages of 14 and 23 every other month, led by Pastor Chris, this is a time to dive into topics that make us ask questions and discover intersections of life and faith.

adults

  • Bible Study: Offered every Tuesday from 10:00 am - 11:30 am, Pastor Chris leads this time of study and discussion on a variety of topics, weaving in biblical tradition and the life of faith.

  • Adult Forum: These occasional opportunities are typically offered following worship on Sundays. To see if there are any current adult forum offerings, visit our Events page.

  • Field Trips: The Chicago area is gifted with an immense number of museums, tours, seminars, and other opportunities for learning and new experiences. Be on the lookout for these occasional offerings and organized group outings.
